Excellent heat recovery
Excellent heat recovery is achieved by the combination of a
150w-compacthigh-output-heater and a high-sensitivity-sensor.
Easy-change tip (PAT.P)
Slide-change tip. No tools or heat resistant pads are needed.
Excellent heat recovery
Compact, high output heater (72W) combined with a high sensitivity sensor
means
there is almost no temperature loss during heavy load continuous operation.
RX-80HRT tips can also be used.
35 different shapes of tips are available, including the 27 optional tips for
the
RX-802AS.
Sleep function (PAT.)
Automatically lowers the tip temperature when inactive for a preset period of
time,
preventing any overheating. The preset period of time is user definable.
The shutdown function can also be used at the same time.
Shutdown function
Automatically switches off when inactive for a preset period of time.
The shutdown function assures that the station is turned off even if you
forget to turn off the power switch.
This function can be used in conjunction with the sleep function.
Sleep Release function (PAT.P)
The sleep function is exited by thermal fluctuation of the tip, for example,
when the tip comes into contact with the cleaner or sponge.

sensitivity
Alarm function (PAT.P)
When the soldering iron is left in contact with the component being
soldered past the time set, this alarm sounds.
This function prevents inexperienced operators from
overheating the component, helping quality control.
(1) RX-852AS starts the soldering-time count down,
when the tip temperature exceeds the set parameter.
(2) The alarm sounds after the soldering-time preset is reached.
The display will also flash twice at this point.
(3) Lift the tip from the component being soldered when the alarm sounds.
Key Lock function (PAT.)
Tamper-proof keypad lock using a password, no tools or cards are needed.
Calibration function (PAT.)
The calibration function digitally offsets the difference between the
tip temperature and the tip thermometer temperature.
Reliable Traceability
We can provide periodic callibration of the unit if required and issue
certification necessary for various purposes (Fees apply).
